Tried to rent a bike for this weekend and found that blackout dates from 7/28 through 9/30!! Definitely NOT worth the effort!
Poor program. We've enjoyed it in the past, but, as a member, you're SOL in the blackout periods. If you're thinking about joining, keep it in mind! I've got 23 days banked, and as of today, I can't use ANY of them until October 1st, EVEN THOUGH THE BIKE SHOW AS AVAILABLE WHEN YOU CLICK THROUGH THE RESERVATION QUE.
I'd pass on the membership - it's really not worth the cost. I've guided several friends to Eaglerider, and don't feel real good about it. I just spoke to one of them about it and he's pretty pissed about it too. Sure, I'm sure it's in one of the previous emails with updated terms and conditions, but it's disappointing, nonetheless.
I called customer service about it and pretty much got the, "I'm sorry you feel that way, but it is what it is" spiel.
It's too bad, because I'm sure bikes will sit idle this weekend at the Harley Dealership because of the blackout while faithful customers of Eaglerider have to sit on the sideline. Very disappointed.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
I liked: Great idea but very flawed.
I didn't like: Club blackout dates lack of locations, Shady practices and hidden costs.
